The Affair

The Affair at the Jupiter was such a wonderful showcase of the work we've done at Flying Horse over the last few years.

In a matter of 4 or 5 hours, Assistant Director Larry, our interns Sean Blay and Mike Schweizer and I transformed our 10 x 20 foot hotel room into a professional gallery in anticipation of the 3000 people who would be visiting with us over the next 3 days.

Entering the gallery at the Jupiter

Over 40 galleries from the United States participated in the event. Many of our visitors were excited by the fine books we are publishing and took the time to leaf through them and ask lots of questions about how we produce them.

Two stacked double beds formed a table for viewing our fine limited edition books

FHE would like to thank Stuart Horodner and Laurel Gitlen for organizing the event. We at the press appreciated being invited personally by the organizers to participate.

Sean took the time to do a custom drawing on our door
